The user known as beaverd, who won $1 million in the X Creators contest, is allegedly a scammer, according to analysts at Bubblemaps.

According to researchers, a wallet associated with the user is involved in several rug pulls amounting to over $600,000.
Identifying himself as a crypto enthusiast, beaverd caught the attention of analysts after winning a competition for the best article on the social network X. He wrote about the role of a major U.S. government consulting firm in federal and regional procurements.
By tracking the user’s public address, Bubblemaps discovered links to several coins dumped in a Pump and Dump scheme.
One of these is SIAS on Pump.Fun. The asset’s market cap soared to $6 million before plummeting to zero. Four wallets linked to beaverd bought the token at launch and dumped it, collectively earning $600,000.
“Ironically, he never publicly tweeted about SIAS, yet he swapped them from a public wallet for an additional $25,000,” added Bubblemaps.
Analysts noted that SIAS is not the first scam incident associated with beaverd. He has launched “dozens” of coins that have become worthless.
The user has been launching fraudulent tokens over the past year. His projects include PISS, EGG, RACISM, and others.

In the thread under Bubblemaps’ post, beaverd appeared and stated:
“Cry all you want. And this isn’t even in my top 5 hits.”
Back in January, former New York City Mayor Eric Adams was accused of a rug pull following the collapse of NYC Token.
