LG and Arbitrum Launch L2 Network for Advertising

South Korean tech giant LG Electronics has developed its own Layer 2 network based on Arbitrum. This solution will serve as the foundation for a digital advertising platform.

The new system will allow companies to place, buy, and sell ads directly. According to developers, the use of blockchain will eliminate intermediaries and automate transactions without manual intervention.

LG has already completed pilot testing of the product in collaboration with a Japanese advertising agency. The company is currently assessing the platform’s value for advertisers and audiences. The release could occur by the end of 2026.

LG explained that the initiative is supported by its LG Ad Solutions division, which manages advertising on 216 million smart TVs worldwide.

Following the news, Arbitrum’s native token (ARB) rose by 5% to $0.08.
