SWIFT and Trade Indices
While the coin’s rise coincides with a general cryptocurrency rally, Chainlink has bolstered its position with several significant announcements.
On September 3, the project team announced a strategic partnership with Bottomline, one of the top three service providers for the SWIFT payment system.

According to the statement, Bottomline processes over $16 trillion in payments annually, serving more than 600 banks.
As part of the partnership, Chainlink will provide a “secure level of interaction and orchestration,” linking Bottomline’s existing payment infrastructure with public and private blockchains.
Banks will be able to use ISO-20022 standard messages to access on-chain payment infrastructure through a single connection, without being tied to a specific network.
Additionally, on September 1, Chainlink announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce will begin using the project’s infrastructure to transfer macroeconomic data onto the blockchain.

The initiative will allow blockchain applications connected to Chainlink’s infrastructure to access up-to-date U.S. government economic data.
In August, analysts at Standard Chartered raised their forecast for LINK to $200 by the end of 2030, citing Chainlink’s role as key infrastructure for tokenized assets.
