UAE Integrates Avalanche Technology into National ID System

The UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority is integrating Avalanche technology into the national identification system, UAE PASS.

The service allows citizens, residents, and tourists to verify their identity for signing documents and accessing government and private services.

The Avalanche blockchain protocol will be used as the infrastructure for the digital storage of the government platform.

According to the website, UAE PASS uses distributed ledgers for data storage and transmission.
